‘Urban Hactivist’ Florian Rivière goes about city streets creating humorous and interactive public art interventions using mundane materials. One of the French artist’s latest projects is ‘don’t pay, play’ where he has transformed a Strasbourg parking lot into a playing field for multiple sports including: basketball, football, hockey, tennis and waterpolo. each pitch / rink / court occupies a single parking space, made over by simply using tape and shopping carts. via
I Wish I Said Hello is a project that plays with the missed connections section of Craigslist and turns those missed connections into stickers that are then put up in the spot where the missed connection happened. Lisa Park and Adria Navarro have started the program in New York City, but they hope that others will pick up the idea and place the stickers around the world.
